There is a 3/4 tub and shower. The living room is separated from the dining room by 300 year old hand hewn beams which were taken from the original building during reconstruction in the 19th century. The Hospital of St. Jacques de Compostele was the original building and the entrance is a classified French national monument. The apartment is on the 1st floor, two flights up. There is no elevator, but access is quite easy. There are two windows overlooking the street and three opening onto the courtyard area.

Within a few minutes walk are the Seine, Notre Dame, Centre Pompideau, Palais Royale, the Louvre, Hotel de Ville, and Les Halles. Within 1 minute walk are the bus line and metro at Etienne Marcel as well as the metro and RER at Les Halles. The Chatelet-Les Halles Metro/RER connects with all train stations and all airports.
