The location only 20 km from the border with Portugal and 100 km from Faro airport make it easily accessible from the UK.

Hoyo 7 is also only 700 meters from the nearest beach and the Atlantic Ocean a popular area for water sports. The Sea front is also home to commercial centre with shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Another commercial centre is located on the Golf Course within close proximity to Hoyo 7.

Costa de la Luz, the Coast of Light, is a unique and beautiful area of Spain. It is largely untouched and has been spared the mass tourist exploitation that many other coasts of Spain have suffered. Nearby is Lepe a small market town famous as the strawberry capital of Spain it has a few interesting features and a pleasant central square. The border town of Ayamonte is only a short drive away and is a popular place to visit with its Andalusian architecture, marina and pretty squares. It has a good selection of bars and restaurants offering a variety of traditional cuisine including tapas. The city of Huelva, also only a short drive away, dates back 3000 years and three of the key sites of the Columbus story can be found here.
The mountain region of Sierra de Aracena dotted with small villages clinging to the slopes of the plunging mountain valleys, was settled in ancient times by the Phoenicians and Romans, who mined its copper, silver and iron, and the open-faced mines of Rio Tinto are still one of the region’s major resources and a popular place to visit.
