Kergroc'h Country Cottage is in the beautiful Cotes D'Armor region of Brittany, France and only 10 miles inland from the famously beautiful north Brittany coastline.

The cottage has recently been carefully converted from a former grain store and longére and retains original beamed ceilings and large open fireplaces. It is situated in a designated conservation area surrounding the beautiful C15th Chapelle D'Isle.

The cottage provides extremely comfortable and homely surroundings and is ideal for a relaxing holiday in France. Kergroc'h is suitable for up to 6 people with 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom. There is also a full size portable bed. A cot can be provided on request.

The safe and secure private Garden benefits from all day sun and is ideal for Barbeques or just relaxing with a bottle of wine.

We have provided a television (English TV reception is good) and both a DVD and a video player together with a small library of books, DVD's and videos. We have also provided a radio/CD player.

Caen : just over 150 minutes

Cherbourg : just over 150 minutes

Dinan airport which has direct Ryanair flights from London Standstead is only one hour away.

Kergroc'h is a small peaceful and typically French hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside yet it is within a 10 minute walk of the charming French village of Goudelin which has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, boulangerie, charcutier, post office and chemist. It is also only 5 minutes by car from the lovely town of Lanvollon, which has a weekly French market, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The historic regional centre of Guingamp is 15 minutes car journey away and has a range of hypermarkets, restaurants, bars and numerous other facilities.

Beaches & Coastline

The lovely coastline is only 10 miles away and within a 15 mile radius there are many beaches ranging from quiet coves to typically French fishing villages such as Brehec and up and coming marinas at Binic, St Quay Portrieux and Paimpol and just a five minute ferry ride off the coast to the north lies the charming island of Ile de Bréhet.

Many beaches have supervised children's play areas. Stunning coastline and country walks, horse-riding, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, golf courses and fishing are all available within the surrounding area.

French food and restaurants can be found everywhere especially seafood which is a speciality of Cotes D'Amor.
