New 2 bed villa and charming 1 bed apartment, situated 5 mins drive from Vera town. These both have use of a 10M x 5M swimming pool. The apartment is next to the owner’s house and the villa is at the bottom of the garden. Both lie in over an acre of land which is planted with more than 100 mature olive, citrus and mixed fruit trees. There is satellite TV. Sun loungers, patio furniture and BBQs are provided. They are very well situated in a country location but close to 4 golf courses and only 10 mins from the coast. There are sea and mountain views from the garden and plenty of areas for walking and bird watching. We have been renting out for less than a year but are already getting return bookings and we are on site should there be any problems or you need any local information. This is the perfect place for a peaceful but not too remote holiday.

Local Area Details

Finca Arboleda is set on three terraces with over an acre of garden. The owner’s house and the apartment are on the top terrace with 25 citrus trees as well as Apple, Apricot, Fig and Plum trees. The swimming pool is in this area and is shared by the three properties. The middle terrace is an Olive grove of forty trees. The lower terrace has more Olive and Fig trees and this is where the old stables have been converted into a two bed roomed villa. The surrounding area is known as the Campo and consists of older small Villas and a few newer large Villas. You are welcome to visit the farm next door, which has goats, sheep and horses. We have free range chickens and are happy to sell you eggs as well as Olive oil and fruit can be picked off the trees.
There are Mountain views to all sides of the garden and also views of the Mediterranean which is about 4Km away.
The apartment and villa both have their own garden furniture and barbeques, sun loungers are also available.

Coast/Beach
The closest beach is Puerto Rey which is less than 10mins drive from Vera town. It is very large and deserted for most of the year. There are literally dozens of other beachs along the coastline and they offer something for everyone from Mojacar with its English facilities and water sports and Vera playa with its Aqua park to numerous quiet sandy coves.

Golf
There are 4 golf courses within a 15/20 min drive making it the ideal base for a golfing break. The closest, 5 mins away, is the Valle del Este course which is an 18 hole par 71 course with fitness club on site. The Marina de la Torre is a par 72, 18 hole course split into two nine holes on either side of a hill, one overlooking the sea in Mojacar and the other overlooking the valley. A restaurant bar and golf shop are also on site. The best is the unique championship course of Desert Springs, near Cuevas. It is an 18-hole par 72 course with superb views. Desert Springs has a restaurant, bar and driving range and is worth a visit even if you do not play. The fourth is the 9-hole Cortijo Grande which can be played as 18 holes with dual tees for all holes. This is an established course situated in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Cabrerra Mountains. All have the usual course facilities.
