This fully furnished, recently renovated, traditional village house is situated high on the terraces of the old, essentially Spanish sector of Trabuco with stunning panoramic views from the roof terrace of the Sierra Gorda Mountains and the village below, and less than a 5 minute walk from the newly refurbished swimming pool.
In the house we hope we have provided home from home comfort. Arranged over three floors, the lounge is newly furnished and has a TV and stereo and CDs are provided as are novels, games and jigsaws, the fully fitted kitchen diner is accessed through the lounge and a handy cloakroom with toilet and handbasin completes the rooms on this floor. Upstairs to the two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and further to the full bathroom with washing machine, along the landing is the roof terrace which is not overlooked for that secluded sun bathing! This sunny spot has views to die for and it will give hours of entertainment looking at the panoramic aspect of the entire village and surrounding hills with a birds-eye vista of the Spanish life below. At night with a drink of your choice there is no place in the village which affords better views with such seclusion. A patio pable and chairs with cushion are provide and an umberella for that vital shade.
We provide a cool box and ice packs for those picnic days or simply for taking to the terrace to keep your refreshments cool.
If you do not want to pack large beach towels they can be hired from us at a minimal charge.
Arrangements can be made to transfer you to and from the airport if you do want to hire a car but should you change your mind car hire is available in the village, the regular bus links you to Malaga, Antequera and Archidona.
Bicycle hire is also available in the village and horse riding 1 kilometer away.

Local Area Details

Trabuco is situated centrally to everything Andalucia has to offer from the Alhambra Palace in Granada to the beaches and nightlife of the Costa del Sol.

The village is bustling with banks, hairdressers, a beauty salon and even an internet cafe, shops and bars can be found in many of the streets. In the village square there are bars and cafes along with a three storey department store which sells a fantastic array of fancy goods to take back as gifts. The many restaurants offer everything from traditional Spanish meals to pizzas and Sunday roasts, and a disco for the young at heart is located at the end of the village.

The swimming pool is newly refurbished and has a cafe where refreshments can be bought and is very near to the house, and the outskirts of the village lead to many attractive mountain and countryside trails which range from a leisurely stroll through the olive groves to a hike through the mountains enough to challenge the most ardent walker.

Gibraltar with it's duty free shopping is a two hour drive away, and Portugal can be reached in four hours.

Nearer to home Granada, Seville, Jaen and Cordoba attract many tourists if they are strong enough to tear themselves away from the tiny white villages of Andalucia which are waiting to seduce the unsuspecting travellers whilst sightseeing in the area.

Take yourselves up to the Sierra Nevada mountains at any time of year, they are as beautiful in summer without the snow as they are dramatic in winter with it! The drive up allows you to see many miles in all directions and the many inexpensive restaurants on the way just add to the pleasure of a day out!

You are guaranteed to return time and time again once you have experienced the dream which is rural Spain at it's very, very best.
