Property Details
Cannon Dam Cabins offers one bedroom or two bedroom cabins along our private lake. All cabins have well equipped kitchens that include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. tableware, dishes and some basic cooking pans are also provided. Each cabin also has its own BBQ grill and picnic table outside. All of our cabins have modern interiors with Heat, Air Conditioning, Satellite TV, and complete shower/bath facilities. Most units are handicapped accessible and all cabins are one level. Fishing is available on site. Convenience store and bait shop on site. Restaurant within walking distance.
Local Area DetailsCannon Dam cabins are located only 1/2 mile from Mark Twain Lake and Blackjack Marina which offers boat rentals. Mark Twain lake is 30 miles long and offers 18,000 acres of water for public use. About 36,000 acres of public land surround the lake. You can walk to the nearby multi use Lick Creek trail. The Joanna Trail is a short drive away and is about 30 miles long. Both can be used for mountain biking, horse riding, or walking. Only 30 miles from historic Hannibal, Missouri the boyhood home of Mark Twain the famous American author. The author's birthplace in Florida, Missouri is home to a museum that houses the cabin in which he was born. Mark Twain Lake Lake was formed in 1984 with construction of the Clarence Cannon Dam and now surrounds Florida.
