Local Area Details

The beach resort of Cabourg is just a short walk to the West and Houlgate, with its fantastic fine sandy beach, is just a few minutes' drive to the East. Caen, the region's capital is barely 30 minutes drive away and further to the West is Bayeux and the famous D-day landing beaches. Further to the East is Deauville with its elegant boardwalks and promenade and further along Normandy's Cote Fleurie is the beatiful port of Honfleur. Wind and water sports are in abundance as are golf course - 12 in Calvados and many within a short drive of the apartment. A trip to Paris is only a 2.5 hour train journey away with the station at Port Guillaume just 5 minutes from the apartment.
