The Cottage was built in 1552 and is attached to the owner's home. The Cotswold stone building is situated on a hill with far reaching views across valleys to Stroud. Pnce a Victoiran Public House, it has been sympathetically restored by the owners. It is very central to the West country, Midlands and London. In the midst of the Royal Triangle, Prince and Princess Michael of kent, Princess Anne and Prince Charles are often seen shopping locally - along with the Princes and Camilla! The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge with TV, radio/cassette, video and telephone. The large conservatory overlooks the hills and valleys and the garden. The twin bedded room also has a radio, TV, and ensuite shower room. The property is strictly non-smoking.
Local Area DetailsThe lovely green hills invite walkers. There's the Cotswold Way and the tow path along the Cotswold Canals close by. Apart from the golf course, there's a gliding club, fishing, a leisure centre a large common for flying kites with buggies! The train station in Stroud is only 2 miles away, and the property is act ually a bus stop!
