Property Details

The self-catering apartment is part of, but independent from, the main house which is a characteristic Tuscan stone farmhouse, set among its own olive groves. My husband and I run the olive farm and produce our own olive oil. The apartment sleeps 2 (double bed or two singles) and has a sofa bed for an additional two people. There is a fully equipped alcove kitchenette, newly built, a large en-suite bathroom and satellite television. There is safe parking inside the grounds of the house. The apartment has an independent entrance, with a terrace and views over the olive grove to the nearest village, Massa (a characteristic Tuscan hill town) and the elegant spa town of Montecatini. The village has a cafe and shops, and can be reached by car or on foot down a lovely country lane. There are restaurants among the various pretty villages in the area, which we can recommend. Florence is 40 km away, and there are very regular commuter train services from Montecatini. Siena, Lucca and Pisa are all within easy reach by car or train.
