A lovely Breton gite situated in the heart of the countryside yet only 3kms from the nearest town and the gorgeous sandy western beaches are within easy reach. It is equipped with everything you will need from TV to toys to ensure you have a perfect holiday.
The cottage is at the end of a cul de sac where the daily traffic comes mainly from the farm below and the drive entrance is shared only with the owners house next door.
The gite has three double bedrooms on the first floor, one with ensuite bath. There is also a shower room with sink and a separate toilet.
The ground floor has a large open plan living area with lounge and kitchen diner. The sitting area has a comfortable lounge suite and includes a wide screen tv (uk programmes) and a cd/dvd player. There is also a selection of books and games.
For year round comfort you have a wood burning stove and central heating is available.
The kitchen has full cooking facilities plus a freezer, separate fridge, microwave, washing machine and coffee maker and all you need to enjoy your stay. The breakfast bar will seat six.
Outside, there is a patio with barbecue for those barmy evenings after a long day out. The garden has a swing for the children and games are available.

Local Area Details

Pleyben is three kilometres away. Everything you will need is here, fresh croissants, baguettes, prawns all from local shops and there are well stocked supermarkets.
There are excellent bars, creperies and restaurants in the town.
Chateaulin (15 minutes) is a pretty town situated on the River Aulne and a little further west are glorious beaches with miles of « diggy » sand, a children?s paradise.
Approximately 40minutes (N:W) away is the city of Brest with its modern shopping centre and to the south (30 mins) is Quimper sitting Venetian style on the River Odet, and with its cathedral becomes a glorious mixture of old and new.
A little further south brings you to Concarneau, a typical Breton seaside town with sand, boats and rock pools.
