'In de Duinen' is a characteristic former farmhouse, dating from around 1900 and completely rebuilt in 1989. It is located on the edge of 'Het Zwanenwater' (The Swan Water) nature reserve of over 600 ha. The village of Callantsoog, the sea and naturally the dunes are close by. Both rooms have 2 large lits-jumeaux box spring beds, sitting area, wide screen surround television with built in radio, dvd player, writing desk and a luxurious bathroom. The smaller room on the ground floor has a duo steam/shower cabin, the larger upstairs room has a bubble bath and a seperate shower cabin. Meals are available on request.
Local Area DetailsThis area is perfect for walking, cycling or a weekend escape. There is a golf course nearby and in spring you will find the beautiful bulb fields close by. Den Helder, Schagen, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik or the island of Texel (20 minutes by boat) are well worth a visit. In these towns and villages you will find museums, restaurants and theatres.
