Montemar is a small group of tastefully designed apartments built in the traditional Menorcan style. It boasts beautifully maintained and landscaped gardens, with delightful varieties of flowering trees, plants and shrubs. There are wonderful sea-views from the apartments.

Montemar A19 is a beautifully appointed one-bedroom apartment that will sleep 2 to 4 persons. The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
Our spacious lounge has a part-beamed ceiling feature with a picture window, dining area, traditional fireplace and a sofa bed. There is a portable CD/radio/cassette player for guests’ use.
Our new well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, electric hob and oven and microwave oven.
There is an over-bath shower, toilet, bidet and washing machine in the bathroom.
The bedroom comprises a double bed and fitted wardrobes.
There is a private sun terrace with sea view, barbecue, patio furniture and steps leading to a lawned area with sun-loungers.
The safe, shallow beach of Cala Tirant is only a few minutes walk away. There are several local bars, restaurants and supermarkets to choose from.
There is a pool at the nearby aparthotel which guests can use.

Local Area Details

Playas de Fornells is a quiet resort situated in the north of the island. The resort consists of mostly private apartments and villas. The colourful vegetation, largely consisting of aromatic shrubs and cacti, sets off the architecture. The western end has a wide sandy beach whilst the eastern end is a contrast formed of rocky outcrops.

Fornells is a small fishing village on the western side of an enormous bay. Almost landlocked, the bay gives the appearance of a large lake and is ideal for windsurfing and sailing. Fornells has also in recent times become the smart place to eat, following patronage by King Juan Carlos. The village can be reached by a 30-minute rugged walk round the headland from the eastern end of Playas de Fornells, or in 5 minutes by car.

Son Parc has the only golf course on the island and is 15 minutes drive away. There is also a large safe sandy beach. Other beaches close by include Binimel-la and Cala Mica.
