The house, which was built in 1818, originally contained a servants quarters, a coach house and a stable block.
The Coach House is just five minutes walk from the centre of Bandon, 16 miles from Cork airport, 13 miles from Kinsale and just 6 miles from the Ocean so is an ideal base if you are touring the south west of Ireland.

The river Bandon runs through the town and is noted for its salmon fishing.
The Old Head of Kinsale Golf Course is only 10 miles away and the Bandon Golf course just 2 miles from the house. There are a number of horse riding stables in the immediate vicinity.
