Local Area DetailsIt is central for all attractions. The nearest village is Beynac (a plus belle village de France) which is about a mile away and right on the Dordogne river and it is about 7 miles from Sarlat which has one of the finest medieval town centres in Europe.
Less than ten minutes away are the spectacular Châteaux of Beynac, Castelnaud and Millande and the spectacular village of Le Roque de Gageac, built into the cliffs alongside the Dordogne.
