Laurence House sleeps 8 + , it has 5 bedrooms with extra space for beds and cots. It has a bathroom, shower room and 2 separate WCs. With this property you also have the benefit of a large "summer Kitchen" fully fitted with dishwasher/microwave etc etc. and an outside patio area with tables and chairs, bbq and tabletennis table.

Hortensia is a 2 bedroomed cottage, with fully equipped open plan kitchen/ lounge/diner.
There is a small private patio with table chairs and bbq.


Mimosa is a one bedroomed, self contained ground floor apartment, with fully equiped kitchen, dishwaher etc etc, this also has a small outside private area for bbqs etc. This apartment forms part of the main house but is self contained, however it can be incorporated into the main house for larger parties.

There is a very large garden with table tennis, volley ball/ badminton net, childrens goal post, sandpit and swings. There are bicycles available although really keen cyclists may want to bring their own! There is a tennis court across the road.

There is a beautiful 12m x 6m swimming pool with Roman Steps, with pool loungers and parasols and this is fully fenced for child security.


Longre is a quiet village, there is a bread van which visits once a day, a tabac, and at the moment a bar and small shop is under construction.

Nearby there are water sports (canoeing etc) Horse riding, fishing, and two lakes for swimming and picnics.

The nearest village for shopping, pharmacy, banks etc etc is about 8 mins away by car, but for larger supermarkets Chef Boutonne or Ruffec are about 15 mins away.
