Situated in a prime location on the Orihuela Costa, the Holiday Home @ Playa Flamenca is only 35 minutes from Alicante airport, 20 minutes from Murcia airport and just 10 minutes from the tourist resort of Torrevieja. The Orihuela Costa is located in the south of Alicante province and is part of the southern Costa Blanca.

The Holiday Home @ Playa Flamenca has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 and is situated in a quiet established residential development close to safe beaches and four 18-hole golf courses and provides the ideal location for family, beach or golf holidays.

A fully-furnished semi-detached property with a large private rooftop sun terrace, balcony off the main bedroom, traditional Spanish built-in BBQ and patio - ideal for al fresco dining - as well as the use of a communal pool only 50 metres from the house. The patio and balcony face south and both have awnings to provide some welcome shade in summer. There is also a small garden with palm trees, shrubs and cacti surrounded by a clipped hedge that ensures privacy. The property sleeps 6 and benefits from air-conditioning / heating. Ceiling fans are also fitted. Satellite TV is provided, as is a mini-HiFi with radio, CD and cassette player. There is also a video recorder and a collection of family videos.

Playa Flamenca is a quiet established residential development close to safe beaches and four championship golf courses and provides the ideal location for family, beach or golf holidays.

The local beaches have been awarded the European Blue Flag of excellence. Approximately 20 minutes walk (a few minutes by car) from the property are the two nearest beaches. A third beach a short distance along the coast at La Zenia has water sports during high season. You will find banana boats, jet bikes and Para-sailing there but if you want something a little more secluded, there are several other beaches around the Torrevieja area to choose from including La Mata in the north or Mar Menor to the south, which is particularly suitable for children.

The area is famous for its salt lakes – which are two of the largest salt lagoons in Europe – situated to the west of Torrevieja. Although still extensively farmed for their salt, the lakes are now protected habitats for a huge variety of migratory bird life, including pink flamingos.
