Local Area DetailsBenahavis is known as the gastronomic capiltal of the Costa del Sol as there are more than twenty five restaurants to choose from together with other shops, banks, bars,art galleries and pretty houses all white washed set in Moorish style with cobbled streets and little gardens and fountains dotted about. All the golden beaches,theme and safari parks,Puerto Banus with its designer shops,numerous bars and restaurants, the Internacional town of Marbella and the beach resort town of Estepona are all a short drive away. Further afield tax free shopping in Gibraltar and trips to old famous towns Ronda for example with its gorge and bull ring is worth a visit
