This apartment is situated on the first (top) floor of a 6 year old 1-storey apartment block on the small, mature development of Marina de Casares, minutes from the former fishing village of Sabinillas with plentiful bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, a half hour from Gibraltar (scheduled flights from Gatwick with Monarch), 11km from Estepona and an one hour drive (approximately) from Malaga Airport on A7/E15 motorway.

The apartment has 2 twin bedded rooms and one bathroom with both bath (shower above bath) and a separate shower cubicle, lounge with balcony and a separate fully-fitted kitchen with fridge freezer and washing machine.

The area of Marina de Casares is quiet and the complex is small and secure and suitable for those looking for a quiet setting with a more Spanish feel.

Car hire is recommended, although there are local buses and taxis from Sabinillas.

Golf Courses:
Estepona Golf and La Duquesa golf courses are within a 5 minutes drive of the apartment, but there are numerous courses both towards Gibraltar and towards Malaga.

Local Places of Interest:
Manilva: The bus to Casares passes through the quiet Spanish town. Subterranean Roman sulphur baths can be visited.

Casares: One of the very pretty Andalucian pueblos blancos, or white villages, can be reached by local bus.

El Puerto de la Duquesa: Purpose-built marina with lots of lively bars and restaurants, a few minutes beyond Sabinillas.

El Castillo de la Duquesa: The original and still relatively unspoilt fishing village with several excellent restaurants and good beach bar which is popular with the locals.
