This luxury 2 bedroomed apartment is on the ground floor and is situated on a quiet corner of Puerto Marina, a new development in the popular area of Pueblo Patricia, Los Alcazares. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard. Every care has been taken to ensure that it is also a child friendly environment. Supermarkets,shops,banks and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk.

The accomodation consists of: the master bedroom with double bed and built in wardrobe; a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe; tiled bathroom [bath with shower over]; and a comfortable open-plan kitchen/diner/living area.The American style kitchen is fully equipped with oven/hob, fridge freezer,microwave,washing machine,toaster,kettle and a full range of kitchen crockery and other equipment. There is a dining table and chairs and, in the lounge area, a sofa, occassional furniture, radio/CD player and TV/video/DVD. All windows and doors are grilled for security [especially useful to stop the little ones escaping !].For your comfort there are ceiling fans in the dining and living area and both bedrooms. We have a highchair, travel cot and bedguards which you are free to use if required. All towels [excluding beach towels], t towels and bedlinen are provided.

Outside there is a raised balcony with table and chairs which is west facing , overlooks agricultural land and catches the evening sun as it sets behind the mountain. The patio garden is tiled and south-facing, it extends around the side of the property. A few paces through this small development brings you to the beautiful pool with separate shallow pool for children and plenty of room for sunbathing. The pool area is private and for residents use only.

Local Area Details

A 10 minute, slow flat walk from the apartment is one of the beautiful sandy beaches of the Mar Menor with a 6km promenade, beach cafes and restaurants.This area is renowned for its temperate climate and warm shallow seas. The resort is flat and ideal for those with young children and the eldery. Los Alcazares offers a huge choice of activities, including water sports, tennis, cycling, pony trekking and go-karting. For golfers, the renowned La Manga golf courses are only a 15 minute drive away. A number of new courses are also being completed a few minutes walk away.

For the less-energetic, there is the long, sandy beach and 6km promenade lined with beach cafes and restaurants. The water is warm and shallow and renowned for its spa properties - very safe for children. There are several shops [including an excellent supermarket just 3 minutes walk away] and there is a very popular local market on Tuesday and Saturday. The old town is a 30 minute walk away and has lots of beautiful buildings, restaurants and shops. The nearest large towns are Torrevieja (20 mins drive North) and Cartegena (15 mins drive South). The historic towns of Murcia and Orihuela can also be reached by car. There is an Aqua Park at Elche and an animal park at Torrevieja. Organised trips can be booked at the local Tourist Information Centre.
