The quiet little village of San Vicente is ideal for a getaway break - only one hour's drive from the South Airport and half an hour from the North Airport. No high rise blocks only spectacular scenery and a short drive or bus ride away from the attractive tourist resort of Puerto de la Cruz. At only £140 per week or £220 if you book both, self catering this is a must.
There are six restaurants in the village, each very different in style and character and within 4 - 5 minutes walking distance from the apartments. Visit the Villa Nueva for very good food and friendly service. The owner, Jose, speaks excellent English.

The apartments are set between the mountains and the sea with a wonderful view in front of them.

They consist of a twin-bedroom, bathroom with both bath and shower. Lounge/living room with English television, DVD and video player. There is also a radio with local stations on it. The kitchenette is divided from the living room area by a breakfast bar underneath which is a fridge with small freezer compartment. There is also a microwave and a three burner gas hob.

The patio doors lead out to either a small garden or balcony and the view is magical!

For those days in mid-winter when it can go down to 15 degrees at night time there is an oil filled heater which heats the apartment very quickly.

In the summer months it is very hot but not as humid as the south. Spring and autumn are very pleasant - not too hot but plenty of sun shine.

Local Area Details

For the walker/climber there are spectacular walks in the forests and mountains.

For the swimmer there are beaches and a local swimming pool just 10 mins drive from the apartment. Also in Punta Brava and Puerto there are many places to choose from.

Socorro Beach is just down the road by car or ½ hour's walk from the apartment. This is a good beach for surfing.

For the nature lover try a boat trip from Los Gigantes to see whales and dolphins. En route these boats anchor in Masca Bay to allow a swim in the spectacular blue sea.

Just below the apartments there is a nature reserve for walking which goes right down to the sea. There are many different birds here including canaries.

There are plenty of lovely shops in Puerto de la Cruz for the shopper and La Orotava is also a very good place to shop.

If you just want to relax in the sun try the sun terrace on the roof of the apartments for maximum exposure - watch out for sunburn!

The famous Loro Park is situated in Punto Bravo which is approximately 12 minutes drive from the apartments.
