The property offers tons of character and charm, and is located in a quiet hamlet of ex-farming buildings, in a perfect location for walking or touring holidays, or simply a quiet country retreat.

Local Area DetailsBrittany is a beautifully quiet and rural area of Northern France. Distinctly different to the central Northern areas such as Normandy due to it's remoteness and proud separation from the rest of France!
The local people are friendly and welcoming, they speak French, but their first language is Breton, a celtic language, similar in sound and structure to Welsh. Many of the older Bretons still use this in day to day life, but the younger generations primarily speak French - which is a good thing for us!
The climate in Brittany is generally similar to the UK, but seems to be a bit more extreme, with very cold winters, and warmer summers. Summer temperatures average 16 - 25 celsius.
This area of central Brittany is ideal for couples looking for a break away from it all. Wonderful walking areas and the fabulous French Roads take you quickly and easily around the region so you can enjoy the beautiful coastlines and rugged countryside from this central location.
The largest nearby town of Pontivy offers all local amenities, and is also steeped in history
