Property Details
The little gîte is fully equipped with all facilities to accommodate up to two people. There are one bedroom with two single beds provided with a continental quilts, a bathroom and a small kitchenette/living room. A satelite TV and some (English) books are available. The gîte is situated near the swimmingpool and has an opening to the gardens with your private terrace and barbecue and to the shared pool. A wood stove is at your disposal.
From the livingroom the private terrace with barbecue and the gardens are accessible. The pool will be shared with our guests in Le Papillon, our second gite. You will enjoy the sunfalls.
The pool,is covered, allowing us to swim almost the whole year. Swimming in the moonlight with or without the underwater lighting adds the final touch to a fantastic holiday.
Around the gîte you will find places to relax and/or read your book in the shade. A table tennistable, dartboard, bikes and the boulodrome are at your
disposal.
Local Area DetailsInteresting medieval towns in the area are Cordes, Najac, St. Antonin Noble Val, Gaillac and Albi.
Albi is known for its famous medieval centre, its cathedral and of course The Toulouse Lautrec Museum. Her Golf Course is reputedly first rate and particulary welcomes foreign visitors.
The Gaillac wine region with its fine range of wines is only half an hour drive. Do visit the many wine chateaus and The Wine Museum.
The tenniscourt in Saint Andre de Najac is available and free to use for our guests.
Our region is known for its interesting and affordable restaurants.
A wide selection of sporting facilities are available in the area. Canoes and kayaks can be hired in Laguipie, Najac and St. Antonin Noble Val. There is good fishing in the nearby rivers Serene, Viaur and the Tarn. Pony trekking centres are located nearby. The local countryside offer many oppertunities for walkers and we provide comprehensive maps. The GR 36 is nearby.
