If you want to experience the originality of the Tuscany you have to go to it’s southern regions. Modestly populated than the Chianti region it has a very appealing contrast which make this area always worth a trip. Beside the famous wines, the Brunello from Montalcino and the Vino Nobile from Montepulciano there are also noumerous small villages, dating back to the Etruscan colonization. Some cloisters as well as the spa’s from this area are attractive destinations.
The ancient city of Cetona offers a great isolated position and is nevertheless conveniently close to Chiusi, which belonged to the old Etruscan, and is also just 10 km away from the highway A1 Milano - Roama. The former tower, dates back to the 14th century and is located at the boundary in a walking distance to the city. It consists of three bedrooms, each stacked above the other and conected by a staircase, two bathrooms, a dining/living area and of course a kitchen on the groundfloor. The living area and the kitchen gives access to a terrace with another dining and siting area. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape.
