The Studio: is on the 5th floor of a 6-storey apartment block perfectly situated at the foot of the piste. You can even ski to the back door! Great for popping back for lunch, no waiting for ski bus/transport. We are situated in the beautiful top French resort of Les Angles in the Pyrenees. This is a stunning location unspoilt by mass tourism, a real hidden gem.

The accommodation: is approx 27 square metres and has been fully refurbished for your comfort. It comprises of a kitchenette, a bathroom with bath and shower over, a lounge/dining area with two put-u-ups plus dining table with 6 chairs. There is a separate ‘loggia’ area enclosed with another put up sleeping 2. It has it’s own door and offers privacy to the main lounge area. The studio is fully equipped for 6. Please take your own linen (sheets/duvet covers & towels). All bedding/pillows supplied. All heating, electricity and water is included in the price. There is a private parking space allocated with the studio.

WINTER IN LES ANGLES: The first French ski resort to install snow cannons, Les Angles has been a top ski destination for both the French and Spanish for many years. Surrounded by lakes and forests Les Angles is an authentic village resort and is ideal for family ski holidays being able to cater for all levels of skiing. The resort includes a sports complex with an indoor, heated swimming-pool, ice-skating/ice-hockey rink and bowling. For 'extremists' the resort offers ice-surfing and ice diving!

SKI ING INFORMATION: Les Angles is at 1600m - 2400m and offers the visitor: 32 ski runs measuring 40km, with 26 ski lifts; a permanent snowboarding halfpipe; extensive cross-country skiing with 156km of trails on 6 circuits with very good circuits for snowshoes and hikers; 2 mountain restaurants; 2 snow gardens for children; crèche facilities (3months to 3 year olds); 255 snowmaking guns; Ski School for alpine and XC (ESF). Les Angles is a good family resort with good novice and intermediate runs as well as runs for the more experienced. It is close to the resorts of Formigueres (3 miles away) and Font-Romeu. The resort has been awarded a 4* rating by 'If You Ski'.
There is so much to do and see with the famous 'little yellow train' being close by, where you can take a journey through the mountains passing through some stunning scenery and hidden villages. There are some lovely natural warm springs where you can bask in 38 deg water surrounded by snow (about 15 miles away) Within a few miles you will find some lovely villages to explore, many offering even more ski ing. You really are spoilt for choice. You will find everything on your doorstep including ski hire, ski school, telecabin and chairlifts, restaurants and shops are all within a few minutes walk, there is no need to use the car at the resort, unless you want to visit further a field.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES: The Apartment block overlooks the beautiful lake, the studio has a mountain view. In this lovely mountain setting you will find a large variety of walking and outdoor activities. The resort caters for serious walkers but also offers a wide range of local walks to suit every ability. You can windsurf or sail on Lac du Matemales, practice canoeing, kayaking or beginner catamaran, fly-fish for rainbow trout and spring salmon in the mountain lakes and rivers, horse ride in the pine forests, mountain bike, visit the Animal Park and see Pyrenean wildlife, or simply BBQ and laze on the beach by the Lac du Matemales. There is a free shuttle bus to the lake. From July 1st to August 31st the tennis club offers beginners or advanced lessons for adults or children. You can play golf and there is minigolf for younger children. There is a scaling rock for experts and beginners. Archery and tree climbing, using harnesses, are amongst other activities offered in the forest. Les Angles offers a great family holiday. The village is proud to be Catalan and holds many age old festivals and events.
