Property Details
Nestled in the LaCloche Mountains, we are located in the Bay of Islands, North Channel of Lake Huron. Fish for Musky, Northern Pike, Bass, and Walleye. 5 Golf courses in the area, horseback riding, hiking, beaches 15 min away. We rent boats, motors, kayaks, canoes, paddle boat, and kids swim in the river. We have 9 cottages on the mainland and 3 on the island (accessible by cable bridge). Cottages are clean, rustic, and include fridge, stove, microwave, 3 piece washrooms, utensils and linen. Gas BBQs are shared. Lodge is open to all guests (has A/C, TV, VCR, games, piano, books and comfy couches. We have 5 full hookups for campers and pets are welcome ($40.00 surcharge).
Local Area DetailsSudbury, 1 hour away offers a hands-on science centre, An Imax Theatre, a Virtual Reality Ride & Underground Mine tours. Domtar in Espanola (15 min) offers paper and saw mill tours. We host the annual LaCloche Country Art School for 2 weeks in July/Aug. Providence Bay (1 hour away) is a world class white sandy beach.
