Located on one of the best holiday resorts in the Algarve - Rocha Brava - this comfortable apartment has two well appointed bedrooms (a double and a twin),lots of storage, a spacious lounge/diner and well equipped bathroom (with a shower)and kitchen. The large terrace leads to the beautiful sub-tropical gardens that surround the complex. Metres away is a pool (heated in the cooler months) with children's paddling pool - one of three on the complex which also has tennis courts, a gym and fitness centre, children's play area, bars, coffee shop and restaurant. Well- stocked mini-markets are close by as are other excellent restaurants, an holistic centre for that added holiday luxury - a massage - plus a golf course and a good beach. All you need for that extra special family holiday.
Local Area DetailsRocha Brava has a 24-hour reception, with facilities for money exchange, taxi hire, babysitters and medical services. A free bus service takes you from here into Carvoeiro twice a day. This is one of the loveliest and liveliest fishing villages with lots of bars, shops and restaurants as well as banks, a market and post office. Within a short distance are water fun parks, Zoomarine where you can swim with dolphins, horse riding and championship golf. In nearby Ferragudo you can learn to windsurf. In Silves you can visit the ancient castle and museum; at Portimao beside the harbour you can enjoy fresh sardines, grilled to perfection with a glass of chilled white wine; in Lagos a great new market, an impressive marina, boats to take you dolphin watching and cave exploring. In the far west (about 1 hour by car) is the magnificent Cape St Vincent lighthouse, the ancient fort and wind compass at Sagres and fantastic surfing beaches along the west coast. Fantastic fun for all the family.
