Cahir Park Golf club is just half a mile from Cahir, amid some beautiful parkland scenery with Cahir Castle overlooking the course. There are six other golf courses to choose from all within 5km radius of Cahir, so golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice.
Fishing
The renowned river Suir flows right through the heart of Cahir and offers superb trout and salmon fishing, or you can simply stroll along the many miles of beautiful river bank.
Hill walking
The Galtee mountains overlook Cahir and offer some superb hillwalking tracks amid some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland. The Comeragh and Knockmealdown mountain ranges are also just a short drive from Cahir.
Horse Riding
Start a life long love affair with horses by taking a visit to Cahir Equestrian Centre. The Centre is just a few minutes' drive from Cahir Park Cottages, with trekking and daily riding lessons as well as a cross country course.
