Property Details
Butternut Cottage is a four-season villa on Sturgeon Lake. It has 100' frontage, with western exposure, and is equipped with a 32' dock and a boatlift suitable for a 21' watercraft. The villa has recently been renovated and fully furnished. It has central air conditionning, a heat pump & electric furnace, auxillary electric baseboards and two wood pellet stoves. The new kitchen includes a side-by-side fridge, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher and china, glassware, stemware and flatware for eight. The four bedrooms are equipped with queen, queen, double and twin beds. There are 2.5 bathrooms, one ensuite. There is a large dining room and living room with a walk out to a deck facing west and a second deck facing east. Deck furniture and propane BBQ are included. A large solarium houses a five-person hot tub, wood stove, Nordic exercise machine, darts and a small billiards table. Rental includes TV with DVD and VCR player, radios(2), tapeplayer and CD player. A full laundry (washer, drier, iron, board) are provided. The villa is rented clean and is to be left that way. Cleaning equipment (central vac, brooms, mops, etc) as well as supplies are provided. Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided; guests bring sheets and towels. Cleaning services and a fresh linens service can be provided at an additional cost of $ 150 and $ 50 respectively.
Local Area DetailsThe villa is located about 90 minutes drive NE from Toronto on a secluded private drive in a residential area. There are several golf clubs nearby, excellent water sports, fishing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Good shopping in Lindsay and Bobcaygeon.
