Local Area DetailsSouthern Dunes is a peaceful, private, gated community on a spectacular golf course ( modelled on St Andrews). Frequently ranked in the top 100 Golfers digest.
Conveniently situated off US Highway 27 , about 7 miles from junction 55 off the I4, less than 20 minutes drive from Walt Disney World and about 1 hour from the beaches of the Gulf Coast. Busch Gardens is about 1 hour’s drive away.
Community facilities include 3 communal swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness suite and children’s play areas. There is also a fishing lake .
The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant, which serves breakfast and lunches at reasonable prices. A children’s menu is also available.
Situated just outside the gates there is a 24/7 Wal Mart, Block buster video /DVD rental, restaurants, banks, petrol station.
