Property Details
The apartment has wonderful uninterrupted ocean views,is well away from the road,in quite surroundings.
The apartment, being on the second floor of a small apartment block is easily accessed by both lift and stairway. Inside is fully carpeted (with the exception of Kitchen and bathrooms) and has a hallway with rooms off.
All the rooms are a good size and very light. The lounge/diner overlooks the ocean and is approximately 30ft long with french doors opening onto the main balcony. There is a TV/Video (taking English Tapes) and CD/cassette player. Video's and Books. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, bidet etc.a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table, fitted wardrobes and glass doors opening onto a small balcony. The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes , bedside table and glass doors opening onto a small balcony.The main bathroom is also fitted with bath, shower, bidet etc. The kitchen is a good size and fully equipped, and a glass door to partly closed -in - balcony with a washing line. The apartment is fully equipped, with weekly linen and towels change and cleaning between lets. Welcome pack is supplied.
The apartment is not suitable for young children, but we do accept from the age of 12yrs.
Local Area DetailsThe apartment is situated in Funchal on the popular Estrada Monumental, where many 5 star hotels and restaurants , such as 'Reids' ( a well known colonial hotel),are located. It is within walking distance of many restaurants,( including a very good one in the courtyard of the apartments),shops and banks, a taxi rank and bus stop. The main town of Funchal is about 15 minutes walk. There is supermarket within a few minutes walk, also a beautiful promenade walk , with several Lido's complex's.
