Property Details
The gite Casa Cassagnau is a free part of a renovated Gascony farmhouse. It consists of a living/kitchen, hall, bedroom and bathroom. In the large living folding doors open to the 300 m2 private garden, where you can enjoy sun as well as shadow. The spacious bedroom has twin-beds. In the bathroom you find wc, washingstand and shower.
The use of towels and kitchencloths is included. You find the bed made at your arrival.
The gite is for rent from the middle of April to the beginning of October. The climat in the Gers is mild. In winter we only have some nightfrost. The hottest period is July and August, in September it can still be summer.
On the other side of our premises we arranged a little camping-site for 10 caravans or tents. Here you also find a swimmingpool and a lobby with bar. Here you can take part in the weekly “table d’hôte�. The other days if desired you can order home made pizza’s and salads.
In the lobby you also find an extensive documentation.
Local Area DetailsChélan lies on the border between two departments: the Gers and the Hautes Pyrénées. The surroudings of Chélan are hilly. It is a peaceful, friendly landscape. This area is not yet discovered by masstourism. It is very suitable for walking-tours. By car you can explore many little roads. You will find fortifications, monasteries and authentic regional markets.
To the south the landscape becomes more and more mountainous. The Pyrénées are at 30 km distance. The Tour the France Passes, The Pyrenees National Park and the place of pilgrimage Lourdes are near.

| Half of the rent has to be payed in advance. The other half, and a bail of 50 euro, is to be payed on arrival.
The use of towels, kitchencloths and bedding is included. Cleaning is included. Water, gas and electicity are included. Heating (possible) is not included.
When rented for two weeks or more we give a reduction of 25 euro from the second week.
