A cosy 2 bedroomed cottage in the town of Matlock. Lounge with gas fire, well equipped dining kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with space for a cot. This room has an ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds and an ensuite shower room. Outside there is a small front garden, and a rear courtyard with patio furniture. There is also a shed suitable for storing bikes etc. Parking is on the roadside.
The owners also own a guest house approx 3 minutes walk away where you may take breakfast for a small charge or park your car if you prefer.
Local Area DetailsThe property is approx 7 minutes walk from the town. Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are 8 miles away. Alton Towers is 45 minutes. Larger cities of Sheffield and Nottingham are also 45 minutes away. There are plenty of walks and cycle ways in the peak district.
Closer to home in the neighbouring town of Matlock Bath, there is the Heights of Abraham (take the cable car up the hill for a fantastic view) and Gullivers Kingdom (a fun park for the children).
