Local Area Details really is an ideal base for discovering not only east yorkshire but lots of other places too. Hull has some of the best museums around and the majority of them are free. It also boasts the worlds only submarium with all sorts of extroadinary sea-life. Beverley, only ten miles away has some wonderful architecture and a minster to rival Yorks as well as some exclusive shops for the ladies. The north york moors is not far away with its steam trains and forest walks and the coastal resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington are also only a short car ride away.
