Our holiday home is just 1.5 miles outside the historical town of Beziers, which rises in terraces from the banks of the river Orb and Canal du Midi. This beautiful diverse region of Languedoc, which boasts over 300 sunny days a year, has something for everyone.
The Apartment: is just one of six, placed amongst villas in a nice residential area and offers plenty of comfort and convenience with all new furnishings/fittings. It has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower over and a separate WC. The lounge/diner (with double sofa bed) is open plan and leads onto a large sunny balcony. The kitchen is open plan and fully fitted with a full electric cooker, hob & extractor plus fridge, microwave and washing machine. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer etc left for your convenience. We have our own private small garden/driveway behind attractive iron gates. The river Orb is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment with its lovely old water mill.
Local Area DetailsThere is so much to do, and places to see, the Tarn Gorges, Carcasonne's medieval citadel, plus the Haute Languedoc National Park with it's mountain biking, walking, horse riding, and thermal spas. (All within the hour) Several lovely Mediterranean beaches about 9 miles away. Both smaller family orientated and larger 'resort style' beaches are easily accessible. Miles of vineyards and a beautiful golf course just outside Beziers. The imposing 12th century St Nazaire cathedral overlooks the town has some stunning views, it's well worth a visit. The Black mountains are within an hours drive and Spain just a little further. The Camargue and Provence are also accessible. A 20 minute walk, 5 mins in the car or a jump on the bus over the road (just 1 Euro) will take you into town where you will find great restaurants, wonderful old alleys, flower market, parks, lovely shops, Olympic swimming pool, and even a bull arena, plus more. There are places to see and things to do too numerous to list, briefly Sete, Agde, Canal du Midi, Narbonne, Leucate, Collioure, Pezenas, Perpignan, Ceret, Montpellier, plus much much more ..

A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required with the balance being paid 6 weeks prior to commencement. There is £100 refundable security deposit to be paid with the balance. The property is to be left clean, in the same condition as found (everything is supplied for convenience) Changeovers can be flexible in length of stay allowing you to take full advantage of cheaper mid week flights. Extra days added to a full week will be charged on a pro rata basis with 3 nights being minimum. No smoking please, there is plenty of outside space, the front balcony and back garden. No animals. There is a telephone for your convenience which allows incoming calls and outgoing calls using a prepaid france telecom card. Long lets are available at certain times of the year from 1-3 months. Price includes heating, water and electricity (no extra winter supplements) There is a one off fee per booking payable which is £35, (£25 for a single person April - September) for this the apartment is prepared and the beds are made up with freshly laundered linen, the apartment is then checked again after your departure and the laundry taken away for cleaning. Many other complimentary items have been included for your convenience. A travel cot has been purchased and is complimentary, if required. Please supply your own towels.
