Hillwalking, mountaineering, cycling, fishing, touring the castles and statley homes of the area (of which there are many), or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery makes this part of Angus the perfect base.
Accommodation is extremely comfortable in en-suite double, family or twin rooms. Excellent home cooking for your breakfast in the morning after a restful night's sleep in the peace of the countryside - only the birds, cows and sheep to disturb you.
Look out from your bedroom window to the splendid Kirriemuir Golf course with its parkland setting or Caddam Woods, of historic McBeth fame and view the Airlie monument on top of Tulloch Hill makes a stunning silouhette at the foot of Glen Clova and Glen Prosen.

We have the Cairngorm National Park, Caenlochan Nature Reserve, RSPB Loch of Kinnordy, Glamis Castle, Angus Folk Museum, all on our doorstep as well as Kirriemuir being the birthplace of Sir J.M. Barrie,author of Peter Pan and the inspiration behing the film Neverland.
