Local Area DetailsMegeve is the "Gastronomic Mecca of the Alps" with a range and level of cuisine not enjoyed anywhere else. Choose from the many authentic mountain restaurants or try Mark Veyrat's 4 Michelin Star "La Ferme de mon Pere". Skiing is the main pastime during winter but for those who wish to have some variety then there is always, ice skating, dog sledding, Golf (yes Golf!), snow shoeing or shopping - to name but a few! In summer, the list of activities is endless.
The town centre has retained it's medieval charm and style as Megeve has resisted the over development of other resorts in this region. Those who visit Megeve once tend to become life long devotees.
