Local Area DetailsWe are convenient to the Curragh and Punchestown racecourses, the National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Goff's Bloodstock complex is about half an hour's drive away, and we also have fishing, golfing and horseriding facilities locally.
Our home is located within 2km of the River Barrow and a branch of the Grand Canal. The fishing nearby is both good and varied, with Bream averaging 5lbs, as well as quality Rudd, Hybrids, Pike, Perch and Brown Trout. We have a bait fridge and house for fishing tackle.
We are 1km from Kilkea Castle, 5km from Athy, 12km from Carlow, 60km from Dublin, and 33km from Kilkenny.
