Local Area DetailsAbout 20km away lies Siena with ist narrow streets and alleys, where since the fifties no cars have been allowed. It is the town with possibly the most beautiful shell shaped arena of the Tuscany – the campo – a place where you can experience the most unusual and traditional horse-riding events twice a year. The gateway to south Tuscany and contrast to the industrious north.
Past the famous vineyards of the Tuscany, about 35 km away lies Florence, turbulent centre of the area, full of past treasures and antiques in the museums and churches. Also there are an assortement of shops. It is an attractive historical centre for all holiday makers and a place where all kinds of unexpected attractions are to be found.
