IN DENT NEAR SEDBERGH AS FEATURED IN BBC2's "THE TOWN THAT WANTS A TWIN."
Cobble Cottage is located in the beautiful village of Dent, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Dentdale is regarded as one of the most beautiful dales in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Dent’s tea-rooms and pubs offer quite a choice for eating out, or you can just enjoy a quiet cup of tea, or one of the Dent brewed beers. There are several shops in Dent plus a bus service to and from Sedbergh, Oxenholme station and Kendal.

Dent Railway station is about 4 miles from Dent Village and is situated on the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line. The Denthead and Ribblehead Viaducts being not far away. Both can be viewed from the road.
Dent is central to the most beautiful touring country, with the Lake District and the Yorkshire Moors only a short driving distance away. Moreover, Dent offers the most wonderful opportunity for long or short distance walking. There are some short, easy but very enjoyable walks along the river, the Dales Way runs through Dent for the more advanced, or there are the famous three Peaks for the really energetic walker!
Cobble Cottage is a charming semidetached cottage. It was built around 1800 and is in the very centre of Dent, opposite The Sun Inn. It sleeps four people, and we allow one well-behaved dog. No smoking is allowed in the cottage.

Downstairs
Lounge/Dining Room:
Comfortable Seating for four, dining table with four dining chairs, television, large under stairs storage cupboard, kitchenette with a full complement of pans, crockery, cutlery etc., tea and coffee making facilities, full sized cooker, microwave, washing machine and refrigerator with freezer compartment.

Upstairs.

Bedroom one:
Double bed with double duvet and pillows, a bedside cabinet, two chairs, a chest of drawers and a large airing cupboard. A travel cot is available for very young children.

Bedroom two:
Large bunk beds with two single duvets and pillows. Wardrobe.

Bathroom:
Full sized bath, electric shower, toilet and hand basin.
Storage Heaters are situated throughout the cottage. The heating by storage heaters and use of water are included in the rent.

Parking:
There are some parking spaces next to the cottage, with a Yorkshire Dales National Park car park about 100 yards away. A YDNP car parking permit is available.

Tariff
Cobble Cottage pricing is £250 per week high and mid-season and £225 low season (Saturday to Saturday). For Christmas and New Year periods, please add £50 to the normal high season price. If available, weekend or midweek breaks may be booked. Bedding is included in the price. Towels and tea-towels may be hired at additional cost. We do require a deposit of £50 with the booking; with the balance being paid at least four weeks before arrival.
