Whitecroft is a dream of a holiday home, situated in the tiny salmon fishing village of Horncliffe by the river Tweed. The cottage has large comfortable rooms,tastely furnished, down stairs the sitting room has a wood burning stove,Television and Video, CD Player, The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker and ample storage, a utility room with washer/dryer and a bathroom with bath and WC. The master bedroom had an open fire, luxurious king size bed, wash hand basin and is exceptionally large, bedroom two has adult sized bunk beds, bedroom three has two single beds, there is a further bathroom with WC and large shower. The house has full central heating to ensure a snuggle stay whatever the season. There is also a private South facing garden.

Local Area Details

The village of Horncliffe has no through traffic which adds to the tranquility, the river Tweed is just at the end of the lane, there is also a small pub serving bar meals within 5 minutes walk. The Tweed is the Scottish border, so Whitecroft is ideally located for exploring the Scottish borderlands as well as the unspoilt Northumbrian coastline.
