Bude is just 20 minutes drive and the Eden Project and Rick Steins restaurant at Padstow are about 1 hours drive.
Next door is an award-winning restaurant the Blagdon Manor, and the local village also boasts an excellent pub with food using local produce.
Local Area DetailsHolsworthy is just 5 miles away and is an unspoilt market town that still has its own weekly livestock and farmers market. Launceston, the old capital of Cornwall is 10 miles away and again offers a pretty market town complete with ruined castle. Bude and Widemouth bay, famous for its surfing are just 20/25 minutes drive. The Eden Project and Rick Steins restaurant at Padstow are about 1 hours drive.
Blagdon is ideally located in West Devon to reach the North and South coasts and for large city shopping, restaurants and theatres, Barnstaple and Exeter are both only about 45-60 minutes drive.
