The apartment and cottages lie within the footings of the ruins of 13th century Aros Castle ancient home of the clan MacDonald. The area is rich in wildlife i.e. otters, sea eagles, golden eagles, seals, deer and a numerous variety of birds including puffins. The accommodation is situated in an ideal location for touring the beautiful islands of Mull and Iona. The waters off the coast of the inner Hebredies also are abundant with whale, dolphin and basking sharks, and these species are easily spotted when you take advantage of the many boat trips available.
