Glyn Isa Country House dates back to 1626 and is set at the foot of the Conwy mountains in 10 acres of mature gardens and land, just on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. We have 2 comfortable bedrooms, with en suite facilities, one is a four poster room, both look out over our front gardens and land. We offer rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. We are 3 miles from the medieval town of Conwy, 40 minutes from Mount Snowdon and 90 minutes from Holyhead, where you can sail over to Dbulin Ireland for the day. The airports of Manchester and Liverpool are 90 minutes away. There are several good golf courses in the area, plus horse riding, fishing and lovely walks. For history lovers, we have Conwy Castle, Beaumaris Castle, Caernarfon Castle, Penryn Castle, Aberconwy House, Plas Mawr and Plas Newydd!! all within 30 minutes drive of our house.
Local Area DetailsConwy is 3 miles away and as well as the lovely castle, has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Llandudno the Victorian town is 10 minutes away, where you will find a wider range of shops. Mount Snowdon and Betws-y-coed are around 40 minutes away as is the isle of Anglesey.
