Property Details
The cottage lounge features an inglnook fireplace housing a mutifuel burner, but the main heating is supplied by storage heaters. It is furnished throughout with period pieces giving the cottage charactor. The double bed although in the old style is modern and has a comfortable mattress. The kitchen is well equipped and features a butler sink, but has modern equipment such as a microwave.
The cottage has a bathroom/toilet next to the double bedroom, and downstairs is a shower room/toilet, sometimes referred to as a wet room.
The cottage is spacious throughout, a second sitting room is available with the second bedroom when four people book.
Local Area DetailsThe cottage is situated in a picturesque village among the Cotswold hills close to Stow-on-the-wold. The village has an 11th century Church featuring a Mural, and is well placed to explore many famous places within a radius of 25 miles. Such as Bourton-on-the-water, Straford-upon-Avon. Blenheim Palace where Winston Churchill was born. It also has many walks and places to cycle.
