The cottage has the most amazing views across the valley to Bridport and Hardy’s Monument in the distance. The woods and hazel hedgerows provide home to a wealth of wildlife, you may see roe deer, kingfishers, buzzards, pheasants and foxes, if you’re lucky and lots of rabbits! Enjoy the wonderful countryside and walks round our 30 acre farm, our fields will lead you to Eype Down and maze of coastal footpaths, great to explore.

Highway Farm is situated between Bridport and Chideock, just 2 miles from the sea and Town Centre. A short distance away are the cliffs of the world famous Jurassic Coast, England’s first natural World Heritage Site including Golden Cap, the highest point on the south cliffs of England. You can go fossil-hunting at Charmouth or Lyme Regis and there is a good choice of beaches within a 5 mile radius of the Farm.

The market town of Bridport is well worth a visit, especially on Market days, Wednesdays & Saturdays, it has an abundance of first class restaurants, coffee bars and pubs. You can browse the bric-a-brac stalls looking for that bargain buy! Bucky Do Square has a hustle and bustle atmosphere, and a monthly farmers Market where you can sample the local produce.

It’s an ideal location from which to discover the delights of West Dorset and Devon.

You are in the right location for fishing trips and beach days, sailing regattas and local carnivals or discover our lovely countryside, historic homes and gardens, interesting market towns and attractions. For the sports person there are 2 golf courses, horse riding, bowling, sailing and diving facilities, all with in easy reach. The Bridport Leisure Centre, 2 miles away, is well equipped with badminton, squash, gym, indoor swimming pool and a learner pool. We have a number of natural unspoilt beaches to choose from, walking distance from the farm, if you’re feeling fit!
